Overview
The Riding Chapter is an experiential program blending cycling, reflection, and guided conversation. Participation implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years or older and in good physical health. A completed registration form and acknowledgment of risk are required before participation.
Registration & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% secures your place.The balance is due 60 days before the program start date.Registration is confirmed only upon full payment.
Cancellations & Refunds
By Participant:
More than 60 days before departure: deposit retained, balance refunded.30–59 days: 50% refund of total cost.Less than 30 days: no refund.
By Organizer:
If The Riding Chapter must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety, travel restrictions, force majeure), participants will receive a full refund or may transfer to another date.
Health, Fitness & Insurance
Participants must ensure they are medically fit to ride and must carry personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip cancellation. The Riding Chapter assumes no liability for medical incidents or expenses incurred.
Program Modifications
Routes, accommodations, and guest speakers may change without notice due to weather, logistics, or local conditions. Every effort will be made to maintain the experience’s quality and intent.
Assumption of Risk
Cycling involves inherent risks, including falls, collisions, and weather-related hazards. By registering, participants acknowledge these risks and release The Riding Chapter, its partners, and facilitators from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising during participation.
Conduct & Participation
Participants are expected to respect the group, local communities, and staff. The organizers reserve the right to dismiss anyone whose behavior endangers safety or disrupts the experience, without refund.
Privacy & Use of Image
By joining, participants consent to the respectful use of photos and recordings taken during the experience for documentation and communication purposes, unless otherwise stated in writing before departure.10. Intellectual
Property
All written materials, including the Field Book, prompts, and program structure, remain the intellectual property of The Riding Chapter and may not be reproduced or distributed without consent.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be resolved in the province of Quebec.
